Although very much a beginner, I greatly enjoy experimenting with painting, drawing and photography. This page collates my efforts so far and will be added to as the creative juices flow.

Calton Collage – March 2010

What to do with a wallfull of empty frames? (click for a larger version)

1. Take a high-res photo of a view you love which features microcosms of detail – I used the Edinburgh skyline from Calton Hill.
2. Use Photoshop to overlay an equally high-res punched-out image of the frames.
3. Copy the view images from the bottom layer into fresh windows.
4. Resize according to the size of the relevant frame.
5. Order photos online.

Koi Polloi – October 2009

Inspired by the incredible work of Mark Nicholas Edward, this acrylic hangs in my living room and is very soothing on the eye, much like a pondful of koi.
